Taree based company Saxby’s Soft Drinks have partnered with local motorcycle racer Damian Cudlin, right in time for the Troy Bayliss Classic dirt track event this weekend.

Founded by George Saxby in 1864, Saxby’s are Australia’s oldest family operated soft drink manufacturer and is now in its fifth generation of family ownership.

Their famous Stone Ginger Beer, widely regarded as the finest tasting ginger beer in Australia, has been made to George’s original family recipe using real ginger to give it more bite. Other popular drinks include Sars Double Sarsaparilla, Saxby’s Créme Soda, Cheery Cheer, Pineapple, Mandarin and even Saxby’s Toffee Apple!

Every flavor in the Saxby’s range is manufactured and bottled at their factory in Damian’s hometown of Taree.

Damian says he’s thrilled to have the support of a local company and is looking forward to representing Saxby’s in this weekend’s dirt track event at Old Bar.

“I’ve grown up drinking Saxby’s Soft Drinks and I’ve always got some of their Ginger Beer in my fridge! They’re a true Taree icon and I couldn’t be happier to have their logos on my bike this weekend for this local event.” Damian enthused.

“Securing sponsors is tough in this economy so I’m especially grateful for Saxby’s support, and I hope to give them a good return on their investment with some great results!”

Managing Director of Saxby’s, Ian Turner echoed Damian’s attitude and is pleased to partner with the prominent local sportsman.

“Saxbys Soft Drinks are proud to support Damian, who will compete in the Troy Bayliss Classic in Taree this weekend.” Ian said.

“Saxbys continue their support of local talent and events and it is very pleased to partner with Damian.”
